Our Projects
Access to Education
Expanding educational access, empowering youth, and creating sustainable opportunities for underserved communities remain central to Divine Deeds’ mission.
Through individualized mentorship and educational support, children between the ages of 3 and 15 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India were encouraged to recognize their potential, set goals, and pursue opportunities through education.
In India, students are required to attend school consistently for two months and successfully complete an examination to secure an official school placement and receive a school uniform. With the support of Principal Jatinder Kaur of Kulliewal Government Primary School, 37 of the 42 participating students successfully met these requirements and obtained both official enrollment and school uniforms.
To promote long-term academic success, ongoing support was provided throughout the students’ first month of school through regular check-ins, guidance, and access to educational resources. In addition, students participated in interactive workshops focused on personal safety, recognizing appropriate and inappropriate physical contact, hygiene practices, and healthy habits, equipping them with valuable knowledge to support their overall well-being and development.
According to recent data collected by the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), over 1.2 million students, primarily of elementary school age, are currently out of school in India.

Food For All
Divine Deeds is committed to providing food for those experiencing food insecurity. Statistically, about 1.77 million people in India face homelessness. However, it is not just the unsheltered population that faces significant nutritional insecurity in India. An estimate of approximately 74% of India’s population is unable to afford a healthy diet. This is due to India’s low income levels, which do not keep pace with rising food prices.
Every Saturday, Inderpreet Kaur, the President of the Ludhiana Chapter, supplies fresh food to various underserved communities in Ludhiana, India.
Paws & Plates
The population of stray dogs in India has been roughly calculated to be around 62 million while stray cats have been projected to be around 9.1 million. Divine Deeds takes passion in feeding free-roaming animals. Studies have shown that feeding animals living on the streets can reduce aggression amongst them, avoid competition for food leading to fights between the animals, help prevent malnutrition, and contribute to a more stable feral population.

Once Upon A Dress
India’s weddings are known for their outstandingly vibrant celebrations, rich cultural traditions, and exquisite rituals. From the attire to the jewelry worn by attendees, it is clear that these events are anything but casual! Therefore, it is only fitting for an Indian bride to have the chance to wear her dream dress and stand out on her special day. The price range for the simplest wedding dresses without traditional Indian embroidery typically falls between $120 and $600, while more extravagant wedding dresses generally start at around $2,040. Through intense fundraising efforts, Divine Deeds has made it possible for many brides to wear their dream wedding dresses on their special day.HER Movement
Divine Deeds received numerous requests for assistance from pregnant women within an underserved community where a cultural preference for sons often leaves daughters marginalized. Many of these women had been abandoned by their families for carrying female fetuses, a systemic issue that continues to place women and girls at significant social and economic disadvantage. As a result, they faced severe financial hardship, malnutrition, limited access to healthcare, and a lack of social support.
In response, Divine Deeds mobilized resources to provide nutritious food, employment opportunities, and access to free healthcare services, helping ensure the safe delivery of nine baby girls. Beyond addressing immediate needs, the organization worked to support the long-term well-being of both mothers and their children. Following the births, four of the nine mothers requested assistance in identifying adoptive families for their daughters, hoping to provide them with opportunities and stability that they felt unable to offer under their circumstances.

Facilities for Families
According to statistics, about 70% of the households in India have access to an improved plumbing facility along with sanitation. However, a large number of people still lack access to an up to date restroom facility in their homes. Divine Deeds has had the privilege to provide a public restroom with upgraded plumbing for a village in Ludhiana, India.
